L'Inno Nazionale Neo-zelandese, è un inno particolare, dato che esiste in due versioni, quella in inglese e quella in lingua maori.
Durante il periodo di dominazione inglese del luogo, l'inno diventò lo stesso della Gran Bretagna, ovvero " God Save the Queen", scritto nel 1745. Trent'anni dopo l'indipendenza della nazione, avvenuta nel 1840, fu scritto il nuovo inno della Nuova Zelanda da Thomas Bracken, mentre la melodia fu composta da Jhon Joseph Woods. Questo divenne ufficialmente l'inno nazionale nel 1977.
